Characteristics:
● Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic fluoroquinolone of the third generation with a broad spectrum activity against all of the main pathogenic mycoplasma and bacteria (both Gram-positive and Gram-negative) affecting animals. The details on the spectrum of activity indicate that the MIC (minimum inhibitory concentration) of microorganism is very low.
● Ciprofloxacin blocks the functions DNA gyrase which is essential for synthesis of DNA nucleic acid.
Composition: Each mL contains Ciprofloxacin ............. 50mg
Indications: For the treatment of diseases caused by pathogens susceptible to Ciprofloxacin. Cattle, swine : Bacterial respiratory disease caused by pasteurella spp. and mycoplasma spp. Diarrhea caused by E. coli and Salmonella spp.
Administration & Dosage: By intramuscular injection
- Cattle : 1mL per 10kg of bodyweight once in a day for 3 days.
- Swine : 1mL per 10kg of bodyweight once in a day for 3~5 days.
Withdrawal period: 10 days.
